Sweet Card for a Sweet Little Girl

Hi Everyone, long time no post!!!  My hands are still improving slowly I am glad to say  I am managing to do most tasks now but the feeling/sensation is slower to improve. Everything I touch feels like sandpaper whether it is a sheet of glass or a soft, fluffy jersey.  Still I can cope with things as they are.  So much improved from 3 - 4 months ago.  Enough about that.  Our youngest Little Lady (Granddaughter) turns 9 tomorrow and this is the sweet, wee card I made for her last night.  The circle cut in the front has acetate behind it  like a window. She has suddenly decided she wants a pogo stick for her gift and so today I have the job of trying to track one down.  I had the same problem a few years ago with her brother wanting one.  Never did find one in NZ!!  I have seen some on-line but that's not going to be here by tomorrow is it???  Wish me luck.  Have a good day Everyone even though it is raining AGAIN here in Upper Hutt.
PS I am going back on the craft class schedule to teach 3 classes over September and October I'm thrilled to say.

  2. I'm so sorry to read that you have been unwell.
What a scary time for you.
Hope things continue to improve and that you get to the bottom of what was wrong.
    Big hugs from the UK.

    1. Thanks so much Sheila. I still look at your blog often and think about visiting you at Monk's Den. Of course we missed out on our UK trip this year because of my problems. Things have improved heaps I'm glad to say. Still a wee ways to go but sOOOOOO much better. I am teahing my first class since before Easter, when all this started, tomorrow. I feel a bit worried about it but I think the ladies will be tolerant as a lot of them are returning customers. Fingers crossed. Hope you and your lovely family are well and have enjoyed your exciting summer in the UK. Hugs back to you. E
